Video installation made for the Writing in Strobe exhibition curated by Andrew Hunt at the Dicksmith Gallery in 2006. The fourth section is based on the track Duchess from Scott Walker’s album Scott 4 and is a personal meditation on love, loss and melancholia following the end of a long-term relationship. The opening image is Melancolia by Durer and the found footage is from Steven Spielberg’s Minority Report and Atom Egoyan’s adaptation of Samuel Becket’s Krapp’s Last Tape.
